Ontario, Canada country music artist Jade Eagleson has released his latest single, which will come much to the delight of his ever-growing following, as well as traditional country fans in general.  “Honky Talkin’” is now available on all streaming platforms via Starseed Entertainment.

Written by Griffen Palmer, Geoff Warburton, and Joe Fox, the tune is reminiscent of a 90’s throwback, complete with the toe-tapping twang and upbeat country boy vibe that made that decade of this genre the greatest in many people’s eyes.

The lyrics are cleverly homegrown and down-to-earth, and the melody is irresistibly catchy, collaboratively encouraging a sing-along upon the first listen.

Having grown up listening to traditional country music, Jade is undoubtedly paying homage to the elements that attracted him to this genre and his love of making this music.  His vocal delivery easily lends itself to the musical beats and melodies, collectively presenting a song that would do well on radio and is to be respected and appreciated by fans, fellow artists, and industry professionals both now and back in the 90’s.

“Honky Talkin’” is the latest example of the talent and ability of Eagleson, who has taken the Canadian country scene by storm since his debut release only a few years ago.  His latest single follows “Shakin’ IN Them Boots” and “Rodeo Queen”, continuing to add to his impressive musical catalogue.

His debut album landed in 2020, featuring two platinum-certified (“Close” and “Got Your Name On It”) and one gold-certified single (“Count The Ways”).  The high success of the singles helped the album become the most globally streamed debut record by an international artist in history.

To date, Jade has eclipsed 270 million global streams, landed four #1 songs at Canadian Country Radio, and earned the 2022 CCMA Award for Top Selling Canadian Album with his second record, ‘Honkytonk Revival’.

In addition to the release of his new single, Jade is keeping busy on the road this summer, with dates scheduled throughout Canada from June through August.
