There are some people in this world who can seemingly “do it all”.  No matter where they go or what they do, there are some individuals who always succeed.

Enter Whitney Miller, a woman who has the vision, talent, and drive to achieve success in nearly any facet she wishes to pursue.  Lucky for us, she has chosen country music.

A former professional athlete, Miss United States 2012, kickboxing commentator and podcaster, The Texas native has released her latest single, “Nobody”, which is now available on all streaming platforms.

“We all deserve love.  We all deserve honesty, and my hope is that this song can bring support, knowing that you aren’t the only one that has felt betrayed and unworthy of love”. 

As Whitney describes, her latest song is tale of betrayal…of your significant not being faithful and lying about it as well.  Unfortunately, this is an all-too-common theme in many relationships, and thus, this song provides that element of relatability that all the great ones do.

Musically, there is an edge to this song, a melodic swagger that we have come to expect from Miller in the short time that we, as an industry, have known her.  The undeniable vibe is that “You are lying, I know you’re lying, and I think you know that I know you’re lying”.  The tempered aggression of the music is captivating, and as it progresses from verse to chorus, it’s an upbeat, head-bobbing and toe-tapping sing-along tune that will remain with you long after the first listen.

Whitney Miller can sing, and she puts on that display here.  Her force behind the mic is relentless throughout, throwing punches at her significant other through her bravado and vocal prowess.  And while this song is a clever take on a common theme, the lyrics are down-to-earth and can apply to listeners of all ages and situations.  This is yet another trait of a quality song, and that is exactly what “Nobody” is….a good song by a talented singer-songwriter.

From previous releases, Miller has infused her exuberant personality into her music, drawing comparisons to the likes of Gretchen Wilson and Shania Twain while incorporating distinct elements to create a country rock sound all her own. 

“Nobody” follows previous releases “Diamond Country” as well as “15 Minutes Of Fame”, which was premiered by People.com and has led to features on CMT.com, Forbes, and others.  As she continues to hone her craft as a singer, songwriter, and performer while also sharing the stage with the likes of Chase Rice and Brian Kelley of Florida Georgia Line, Whitney Miller is once again putting herself on a path to succeed as she introduces herself to the country music world.
