West Jefferson, NC native Taylon Hope has independently released her new single, “The Day”, a song that has a special place in her heart.

The track, penned by Taylon along with Bill Diluigi, is an ode to the experiences of our high school years as well as taking that next step after graduation.  From the highs and lows, the trials and tribulations, the celebrations and heartbreaks, years spent in high school shape everyone to some degree, and “The Day” pays homage to those experiences along with thoughts, feelings, and emotions associated with those memories that you never forget.

“I co-wrote this song with Bill Diluigi and it was truly a song that was on my heart as I am finally there myself, ready to graduate high school with my peers and move forward to my next journey,” Taylon shared.  “I always dreamed of writing a song for my senior class so it was finally that time”.

“The highs, the lows, the goods, the bads

All the memories that we had

They’ll always be here in our hearts to stay

This is gonna be our year

So we’ll cry laugh and cheer

For the day”

This is a beautifully written and impeccably delivered song of sentiment, memorandum, and self-assured respected and experience-driven realization.

While she is young in age, Taylon is gaining experience well on her way as an industry veteran.  “The Day” also represents a bit of a full circle type moment for the talented songstress, as one of her first co-writes at age 11 was with Diluigi when she began working with producer Kent Wells.

Having released her first EP, ‘What This World Needs’, in 2014 her second, ‘Showin’ My Roots’, in 2016, Taylon, despite being just a teenager, has been a mainstay in the country music industry for nearly a decade.  From performing at legendary iconic venues in town including The Bluebird Café and The Listening Room to sharing the stage with the likes of Shenandoah and T. Graham Brown, Hope continues to hone her craft and engulf herself in the Music City culture at songwriters’ nights in town.  Her incredible work ethic paired with her undeniable talent have put her on the path to country music success, now and for years to come.
