Sister duo and TCM Class of 2022 artist Diamond Dixie has released their latest single, “The Best A Broken Heart Can Do”, available now on all streaming platforms.

Gabriella and Bianca LeDuc released their debut self-titled EP in 2015, and since that time, they have been honing their craft as songwriters, singers, and performers.  From playing gigs at school and church festivals early on to the likes of CMA Fest and Runaway Country Music Festival in recent years, the duo has found their niche within an incredibly competitive country music genre, incorporating their creative storytelling and relatability with vocal talent and effortless musical compatibility and melody to encompass a sound and catalogue truly their own.

“The Best A Broken Heart Can Do” represents another step in the musical repertoire for Diamond Dixie, showcasing a musical and lyrical maturity that is even throughout the track.  The vibe is perfectly articulated through the choice of melody along with the vibrancy of the sisters’ beautifully nurtured vocal delivery.

Dedicated to “all the girls going through a breakup”, this song paints a picture that is all too familiar for many listeners out there, and offers a sense of understanding, vulnerability, all the while offering the hope that slowly, things will improve and get better over time.  Songwriting can be incredibly complicated, but at times, the simplicity of the intended message of a given song can have a quantitative emotional impact on the listener.  “The Best A Broken Heart Can Do” is an impactful release because of the familiarity of the subject matter, and there is an unmatched essence that exists when an artist is able to convey feelings and ignite passions through the tone of their voice and structure of their delivery.

Gabriella and Bianca have been taking the necessary steps through their journey since they first embarked on their country music career.  From 2017’s ‘Reckless’ to 2021’s ‘Growing Wings’, each collective release serves as proof of growth as artists as well as the ability to showcase their talents in unique ways in a variety of musical avenues, topics, and melodies.

Their latest release follows past efforts including “Lock It Up” and “Through With You”, as well as “PDA”, which has garnered well-deserved notoriety amongst fellow artists, media, and industry representatives.  With their obvious work ethic and passion along with ever-revolutionizing talent and poise, Diamond Dixie are on their way to becoming a well-known name in the country music community.
