North Dakota sister duo Tigirlily Gold keep the good times going with their latest release and title track to their highly anticipated upcoming EP.  “Blonde” is available now on all streaming platforms.

Kendra and Krista Staubaugh made a huge splash on the country music scene with their breakout tune “Shoot Tequila”, tallying over 43 million views across social media platforms and debuting with the second-most adds on country radio since its March 13 impact date.

Now the ladies are building on that momentum and forging ahead with a party anthem about celebrating womanhood and a carefree, light-hearted approach to living one’s life to the fullest.

Co-written by Kendra and Krista along with Alex Kline and Scott Stepakoff, “Blonde” is an upbeat, fun approach to encourage us all to make the most of each moment and enjoy the ride to our eventual destination.

With the sound, look and poise of seasoned veterans, this duo demands the listener’s attention from the song’s onset, delivering the thought-provoking lyrics with flawless vocals while adding the flare and sass we have come to know and love from them during their short stint on the country music circuit. 

From a subject-matter standpoint, this latest tune is representative of not only the ladies’ approach to life, but also serves as a preview of what we can expect from their forthcoming ‘Blonde’ EP, due June 23^rd via Monument Records.

“This song is about not taking anything too seriously and being able to poke fun at yourself, but also be really confident in who you are all at the same time”, Kendra says.  “We thought a lot about strong women like Dolly Parton when writing this one.  We really wanted to bring a unique, new, fun energy to country music and I think this song does a great job of showcasing that”.

These incredibly talented ladies wrapped a 23-stop tour earlier this year and have dates scheduled throughout the year across the country from New York to California with more expected to be announced.  With an upcoming EP release in the works and a tour schedule that continues to build, the sky appears to be the limit for this red-hot BLONDE duo.
