Country music superstar Chris Young has released his first solo single in three years.  “Looking For You” is available everywhere now, already impressing fans, media, and critics alike which will undoubtedly become another massive hit to add to the singer-songwriter’s growing musical catalogue.

After duets with Kane Brown and Mitchell Tenpenny hit the No. 1 spot on airplay charts over the past couple years, Young is apparently ready to take center stage on his own once again, with an upcoming album on the horizon, led by the release of a brand-new tune for us all to enjoy.

Young co-wrote the new tune along with Chris DeStefano, James McNair, and Emily Weisband, a group of songwriters that are familiar with one another and their own unique writing styles.  The result is a no-doubt hit, one that has a strong chance to becoming another No. 1 for Young.

The appeal of Chris’s music from the beginning has been its ability to be relevant in today’s ever-changing genre spectrum while also paying homage and staying true to his more traditional and jazz background.  “Looking For You” falls right in line with what country music fans have long-loved about Chris Young – catchy songs that have something to say about life, love, and everything in between, while being sung by an incredibly talented vocalist.

“Couldn’t have just been anyone

The way you smiled and said my name

Girl, you were so original

I knew I’d never be the same”

In addition to “Looking For You”, Young is also releasing another track, “All Dogs Go To Heaven”.  Both tunes will appear on his forthcoming new album.  While he has not shared a release date as of yet, he has promised more content that we can all look forward to in the very near future.  For now, let’s all listen to the romantic, mid-tempo hit “Looking For You” and enjoy the tale of experiencing love at first sight.
