With his 2021 Drifter album, and its subsequent song releases “She’s Been Singin’ Free Bird” and the title track, Kentucky native Eldon Huff earned much acclaim as he put on a full display of his styling that veers somewhere on the middle line between Southern rock and 90’s country influences to blend into a memorable sound that skillfully kept Huff’s outstanding vocal in the signature position.

With his new single “It’s All Gonna Be Alright,” lifted from the mentioned Drifter album, Huff wears his heartland rock influenceson his sleeve as the feel-good rhythm embedded into the guitar licks through the intro immediately get you bouncing along.

Life ain’t long enough to live like we’re living now,” laments Huff in the opening verse as he’s venting frustration with the day-to-day, punching in and punching out of the 40-hour grind, instantly connecting with the blue-collar listener.

The ultra-catchy guitars keep your toes tapping, hips shaking, and fist pumping right along with Huff as he shifts gears to getting away from all of it with your best girl by your side to live carefree in the moment, letting go of any of the day’s worries on a simple late-night drive together – presumably with the radio cranked and the windows down.

A positivity shines through the of the chorus when Huff sings just one line, “It’s all, all gonna be alright, tonight!” declaring that no matter what might have already happened during the workday, that doesn’t have to define tonight.

He paints vivid pictures throughout the remainder of the song of what that late-night drive looks like when he sings lines such as:

“Girl, you look so good in them cutoff jeans with your feet on the dash”

“Runnin’ down the red light and stop sign like we own the whole damn town”

“Now here we are sitting on this hood watching the sun sink, nothing but ice left in the cooler, and I sure could use another drink”

Though the song is common to country music in its theme, Eldon Huff absolutely captures a truth that many of us all too often ignore and/or overlook – It’s the simplest of things, and a positive outlook, that can change everything and anything!

Couple that idea with an irresistibly catchy melody and Huff’s incredible vocal, and he delivers yet another song that immediately invokes attention while strongly connecting with his core audience and striking the intended impact on newcomers to his music with a memorable, easy-to-relate to song that will keep them invested in what else his catalog – and the future - still holds for this promising artist!
