Country female trio Runaway June is back and in a big way, releasing their brand-new single, “Broken Hearts (Do Broken Things)”, available everywhere now.

The chart-topping group now includes Jennifer Wayne and Natalie Stovall, as well as new member Stevie Woodward, and their formal introduction as a collective group is an unapologetic account and a “flip-of-the-script” on a response to a relationship’s end.  The post-breakup blues has been used countless times, and it still works, but this open-book approach to making mistakes and learning and moving on is a fresh take on a topic that won’t be going away any time soon.

The self-proclaimed goal of Runaway June is for the listener to let loose and have fun, and “Broken Hearts” ignites that playful, light-hearted side in all of us.  Life is full of drama and there is a time and a place for music to represent those feelings, but sometimes we just want to listen to a song and have fun.  From their inception, and across lineup changes, this group knows how to create music that represents an escape and an avenue let go and just enjoy the moment.

This tune is incredibly catchy with easy sing-along lyrics accompanying quirky guitar licks and sassy melodic undertones to create that originally creative final result that fans of all spectrums of the genre will enjoy.  It was written by Mandi Sagal, Steve Fee, and Sarah Lake, and was produced by Mitch Furr and Justin Weaver.

The addition of Woodward has added a new dimension to the group’s already well-renowned musical repertoire.  The ladies’ vocals blend together beautifully and effortlessly, and the music chemistry is immediately undeniable.  This song, already a fan favorite, promises to be the first of many releases in the near future.  Having debuted their new lineup at the Gran Ole Opry, they are now hitting the road hard on a constant and consistent touring schedule, hitting venues and markets across the country.
