Twin sibling duo the Hobbs Sisters, Lauren and Hannah Hobbs, have certainly found their home among the Music City country music scene as the buzz that surrounds them has continually grown louder and louder with each new song they’ve released.

“Love Breaks All The Rules” is no exception.

Having said that they wanted to write a song that would be fun to perform at their full band shows, it makes sense then that they would host a party in Nashville a few days ahead of its official release and use the live stage to debut the song.

Written by Lauren and Hannah, Kelly McKay, and Grammy nominated singer/songwriter Forest Whitehead, who is also the duo’s producer, the catchy beat that punches the melody from the get-go immediately gets you swaying along with the vibey, mid-tempo melody as Hannah secures the initial leads on the song.

Focused on those unexplainable, though perfectly awesome feelings you get when you find your heart falling crazy in love, we get several playful lines that tease him to go ahead steal her away with his reckless eyes and commit his sweetest crime by killing her with his kiss, before admitting that they are falling so crazy in love that they aren’t worried about anything or thinking about consequences that could arise when falling so fast.

The flurry of emotions that come with these types of fluttering heart feelings are expertly matched by the pacing on the instrumentation as the verse progresses into the pre-chorus, before their signature harmonies elevate the ultra-catchy chorus to instantly get you singing along with the giddy in love lyrics:

We’ll be running through the red lights

Like blue lights flashing right behind

Jumping fences pretending we didn’t see the signs

Staying up too late, baby should I stay

I want to hear you say the things we shouldn’t do

Cause love breaks all the rules.”

“Love Breaks All The Rules” releases not too long after the very well-received “If You Wanted To,” striking while the iron’s hot by offering us our next exciting glimpse into things still to come from their upcoming EP.

With one more highly anticipated teaser song still on its way, it’s simply a matter of time for the duo as songs like this are consistently building on an already solid resume that has captured attention while moving them ahead another step toward earning an artist to watch tag.
