Since releasing “Put It Down” in 2021, Florida based recording artist Alyssa Marie Coon has continuously impressed with each subsequent song release - the Nashville version of “Before I’m Out There” and the incredible “Break It Fast” - not only showcasing her very quick growth spurt as a performer and songwriter, but further developing her ultra-modern, pop country sound that has proven she is more and more “Nashville” ready.

She now returns with “A Little Bit in Love,” a song co-written by Alyssa with Kristin Demlow and Kayleigh DeLozier of Steel Ivory.

While the guitar riffs strike, and the rhythm pounds the pulsating beat through your speakers, they expertly never overshadow Coon’s vocals as she carries her voice over a radio-friendly, mid-tempo melody that perfectly encapsulates the falling in love feeling that she’s experiencing giddily through the lyrics.

Praising the ways that he’s going out of his way to keep a smile on her face, which includes putting miles on his truck to come see her, she then perfectly begins to describe the butterfly feelings that she’s having while outlining the effects that he’s having on her, singing in the opening verse of how she loses her train of thought whenever he’s holding her hand or saying her name.

All of this, however, is designed to push into the playful chorus that sees her bashfully admitting that she’s falling for him more than just a little bit, when she confesses that he’s got her heart racing, that she wants to see him every hour and every minute, and that “maybe” she’s a little bit in love.

In a bit of clever know-how within her songwriting prowess, she calls back to her earlier song release “Put It Down” in the second verse, winking a nod to her longtime fans when she references the very idea of that tune by singing:

I get a little bit of butterflies

When my phone lights up

And I can’t ever seem to put it down

What Alyssa Marie Coon continues to accomplish with each release, including “A Little Bit In Love,” is that not only is she showing us her perseverance in a very competitive music industry, but she’s consistently displaying her willingness to continually grow within her songwriting abilities, vocal delivery, and vibey, pop country style as she comes more and more into her own; no doubt catching buzzworthy attention along the way.
