Jade Eagleson is absolutely no stranger to country music fans. With over 250 million global streams, several Gold and Platinum certified songs, and four #1’s including “All Night to Figure It Out,” “More Drinkin’ Than Fishin’,” and his last single “She Don’t Know,” it’s no surprise that the superstar has earned six CCMA nominations this year – the most for any male act this year!

He now returns with “Shakin’ In Them Boots,” the first new music we’ve heard from him since the release of last year’s sophomore album Honkytonk Revival.

Written by James Barker, Blake Pendergrass and Jacob Durrett, the song takes its honky-tonk infused style, revs up the barn-burning rhythms that borrow straight from the traditional side, and sets out to answer the question, have you ever just wanted to get away to the middle of nowhere with your better half for a steamy night together way out in the country?

The song drips with classic country ideals thanks to prominent fiddle and dobro usage, but its Eagleson’s rich vocals wrapping around his signature neo-traditional style that really helps elevate the lyric and add the charming, flirtatious nature needed to make this pop through the speakers.

Painting perfect pictures of his playful plan through the verses, he sings of the two of them heading way down south outside of the city and teases that he’ll bring the beer and she can bring the pretty, that they’ll have fun getting tipsy around the bonfire, etc.

As their night together continuously heats up, Eagleson encouragingly flirts his way to enticing her to keep on dancing as he turns up the radio, singing cleverly in the chorus of how he’s falling for her faster than her sundress is spinning around. Clearly though, she’s knowingly teasing him while he confesses that he’s liking every minute of the way she’s kicking up the red dirt while shaking in her boots.

This is the type of energy fueled song that will immediately have you reaching for your boots to get those heels clicking off the Friday night dancehall floor as you two-step in rhythm with the song; something he even alludes to when he sings the line, “Girl, you've got that Texas two-step stepping so damn fine.”

With his stacked resume already proving beyond any doubt that Jade Eagleson is one of Canada’s quickest rising stars, he moves straight down the middle of what he always does best on “Shakin’ In Them Boots” to deliver a song that punches in all the right ways so that it ignites the dancehalls, but also strikes a chord with the couples by becoming the song to encourage them to have a date night soon!
