Over the years, we have seen a number of highly talented Australian singer-songwriters’ abilities showcased for the country music masses in the United States and beyond.  Meet emerging country pop songstress Abbie Ferris, who has released her latest single, “3AM Girl”, across all digital platforms.

Offered via newly launched indie country label RTC Records, “3AM Girl” is the story of a toxic relationship from the outside looking in, inspired by one of Abbie’s friends who was in a similar situation.  The result is a down-to-earth, unapologetic look at the vulnerable side of a relationship that everyone can see needs to end, except for those that are involved in the relationship itself.

Ferris co-wrote the tune with Phil Barton, using the heart-on-her-sleeve songwriting nature to not only tell the story, but also express her feelings and emotions throughout via not only the lyrics, but also the tone and melody.  The mood is purposefully somber on this track, and Abbie’s vocals are infectiously on point throughout, perfectly invoking the passion and feelings that are so crucial to a successful country song.

Abbie’s songwriting ability and vocal prowess have garnered her the respect and recognition of fans, media, and industry reps alike both in Australia as well as over the world.  Her music videos have achieved 600,000 views online, while her tracks have been added to Spotify’s “Fresh Country” and Apple Music’s “Today’s Country”, “Aussie Country” and “Country Lovin’” playlists, collectively tallying 750,000 streams.

Backed by a core of talented and accomplished songwriters and producers as well as the support of fresh young label, Ferris continues to make a name for herself as a bright rising songstress in country music.
