After years of succeeding as the struggling musician, Walker Hayes has officially found his niche within the industry….and now his music momentum is seemingly unstoppable.  With multiple award nominations and victories, chart-climbing and chart-topping singles under his belt, the Mobile, Alabama native is back with a brand new single, “Ya’ll Life”.

This is another tune that finds Walker right in his comfort zone, a playful yet honest take on the easy-going life in the south.  And similar to his prior releases, he draws on real-life inspiration of his family and friends on this new single.

Written by Hayes along with Pete Good, Josh Jenkins, Cornell Haynes Jr. and Jason Epperson, this is another crafty, rolling-rhyme influenced sing-along number that we all expect from Walker at this point.

We be livin’ that ya’ll life, ya’ll

Rollin’ in the South

Where it’s all football and Jesus

Barbership talking like nah

Shut your mouth, my mama’s sweet tea’s the sweetest

Walker also produced the song along with Joe Thibodeau and Shane McAnally, released via Monument Records.  While his style and approach are 100% unique and has always faced criticism from the traditional side of the genre, there is no mistaking the consistency and integrity of Hayes as a musician.  This is who he is, and this is the music he makes and has made for years.

The pop and hip-hop influences are present, and the irresistibly catchy hooks, beats, and rhymes set him apart from others in the genre.  But perhaps the most appealing aspect of his music is the integrity behind the lyrics – these songs reflect his personal experiences and feelings.  It’s not a gimmick – this is real life.

Walker has earned a Grammy nomination, six Billboard Music Award nominations, five ACM Award nominations, a CMT Award nomination, and a No. 1 single at country radio (“Fancy Like”).  He is gearing up for his headlining “Glad You’re Here” arena tour this fall. The trek will hit dates across the country, promising to be one of the more highly anticipated runs to round out the year.
