Sony Music Nashville duo Kat & Alex continue to make a name for themselves as one of the hottest new duos in country music.  We, as listeners and fans of music, love to hear stories of love.  And this husband-and-wife pair churns out ballad after ballad, much to the delight of fans and critics alike.

“We Bought a House” is a song inspired by the couple buying their own home earlier in the year.  Written by Kat and Alex along with Josh Osborne and Lindsay Rimes, the tune tells the tale of moving forward with a relationship and taking those next steps as a couple amidst others’ speculation and criticism.

“They say we’re young, just take your time

But slowing down just don’t feel right

They say fools rush in, that’s getting old

‘Cause it ain’t rushing, when you know you know”

Their ability to paint a picture with a few lyrics delivered masterfully through beautifully harmonized vocals is unprecedented, making it unmistakable that this duo has garnered such praised notoriety since their first embarkment onto the country music scene.

Having made their debut to the national audience in 2020 on American Idol, they have since released several fan favorites including “I Want It All” and “Let’s Find A Bar”, while also making their first appearance at the Grand Ole Opry to a rousing response.

Kat & Alex have a handful of dates confirmed on their website in Texas, Georgia, California, and Tennessee, stretching from this weekend through October.  With the success of their singles to date and the anticipation of continued new music, we can expect to see and hear much more from this duo in the months to come.
