Rising country music singer-songwriter Jordan Fletcher has released the sentimental and deeply personal track “Death and Taxes” via Triple Tigers.

This is a track about family, growing up and becoming a man while encompassing the lessons he learned as a child from his father and passing that wisdom on to his own son.  It is a self-proclaimed tune about “life, death, love, and family and feels like the perfect way to sum up this personal journal that ended up becoming an album”.

The Jacksonville, FL native tragically lost his father when he was only 11 years old, and so he leaned heavily on surfing, fishing, and playing music to cope with his grief.

’Cause life ain’t fair and it’s never gonna be

Chicks dig guitars, tattoos and scars

Trucks and cars don’t run on drinks

You can count on one hand the things you can count on

Death and taxes and your momma and me

With his impeccable ability to harness and unleash his vocal prowess at the perfect moments throughout a track accompanied by his ever-improving musical penmanship, it was an inevitable fate that he has accumulated millions of platform streams independently while touring extensively with the likes of Kip Moore and Muscadine Bloodline.  Now, with every release, he continues to garner new fans while honing his craft in the studio and the stage.

“Death and Taxes” follows “Rather Be Broke”, his debut release via Triple Tigers.  Ever since being named a “Highway Find” on Sirius XM The Highway, Fletcher has continued to make a name for himself as one of the bright young singer-songwriters on the country music circuit.  Fans can catch him on the road on select dates this summer, while also keeping an eye out for new music in the coming months.
