In response to his fans’ reaction to a first-verse teaser, Kameron Marlowe has released his latest single, “Girl On Fire”, via Columbia Records Nashville.

Marlowe co-wrote the song with Jason Gantt and Josh Osborne.  It is a self-proclaimed fun and honest ode to a summer fling.  It is about experiencing that instant connection and navigating your feelings.  When you’re in your twenties and exploring the parameters between being a kid and being a man, this song offers the insight into the emotions that come along with an instantaneous romance.

You were my half pack hider

I was your glovebox lighter

If I tell you I knew what I was doing I’m a liar

I was trying to play it cool with a girl on fire

Kameron’s voice is strong and his storytelling ability contrasts perfectly, adding a vulnerability that is appealing to the listener.  The relatability shines on this track, sharing personal emotions on a subject to which nearly everyone can relate.

“Girl On Fire” follows “Giving You Up”, currently holding strong on the charts, and “Steady Heart” which is impacting airwaves and streaming platforms.

It is set to be a busy summer for Kameron, intertwining headlining gigs and appearances at major country festivals with supporting performances on Morgan Wallen’s “The Dangerous Tour” through August.
