Another fun summertime sing-along track will find its way into our car speakers and streaming platforms with the release of Shane Owens’ “You Go Good”.

The latest single from renowned singer-songwriter is a feel good, fun-loving track about being with the one you love and having a good time without a care in the world.  It’s a country love song, no doubt, adding the twang and southern country charm that we miss in some of today’s country influences.

Shane has made a name for himself as both a gifted songwriter as well as showcasing his distinctive vocals while also not trying to reinvent the wheel to a fault.  He knows his lane, and he knows his comfort zone.  This man knows how to write good country songs, and he continues to do so track after track, year after year.

“You Go Good” describes how some things just fit perfectly together, whether or not they are a likely pair.  It’s a love song as told by country music, exemplified lyrically by “Sunday needs a sermon” or as opposite as Holly and red clay Georgia.

Shane’s latest track made the top 3 most downloaded and top 3 most streamed tunes on Play MPE, and his previous single, “Music Man”, broke the top 40 spot on the Music Row Country Breakout Radio Chart.

In a world full of young, fresh singers and performers trying to find that next new sound or niche, Shane Owens continues to garner new fans while further strengthening his existing following with his ability to deliver modern day sounds while honoring traditional country roots.  He has his own style, he always has, and doesn’t deter from what he believes in and who he is, which is why he remains relevant on the ever-changing carousel that is the country music genre today.
