Texas native Chris Colston has released a brand-new song, “Livin’ Like This”, available everywhere now.

The tune finds the singer-songwriter right in his comfort zone.  This is a down-to-earth, backyard country rocking anthem about loving the life he lives and exactly who he is and what he loves.  While touching on how he was raised and how his family grew up, this is a feel-good take on hunting, fishing, family, friends and, of course, country music.

Colston’s rock n’ roll influences take center stage on this track, and the hard riffs and edgy licks along with his traditional gritty vocals blend together to present a final product that makes the listener want to dance, move, and party.

We gonna drink, we gonna yell

We gonna raise all kinds of hell

We gonna hunt, we gonna fish

We gonna keep on livin’ like this

This song is carefree, it’s true, it’s honest, and it’s something that everyone will have fun listening to, regardless of age or musical interest.  While it’s well written, it doesn’t break the mold of new music or lyrical content…but it finds its star right where he needs to be – playing rocking country music and having fun doing it!

Since releasing his debut album, ‘Bombs Away’ in 2020, Colston has been hitting the Texas music scene hard with what he describes as “gritty Texas root combined with rock ‘n roll”.  Having performed with the likes of Hardy, Eli Young Band, Casey Donahew and Parker McCollum, Chris continues to hone his craft as a songwriter and performer.  With what may have started a music jaunt in the lone star state, Chris Colston is soon to be a household name as one of the fast-rising young crooners in country music today.
