The latest release from platinum country music star RaeLynn does not exactly break the mold with regards to subject matter, but it is an incredibly catchy tune with the starlet’s musical fingerprints all over it.

“I Love My Hometown” is all about being proud of where you came from and how it shaped who you are today.  As she has proclaimed in the past, her upbringing and childhood home is very important to her:

“This music is a continuation of where my heart is,” she says.  “I will always love something about my hometown!  This song is super special and is only the beginning of what’s to come.”

Written by RaeLynn along with Corey Crowder, Brian Kelley, and Canaan Smith, the song incorporates her signature sound along with new elements to introduce a smooth groovy vibe that will imbed itself in the ears of minds of listeners long after they hear it.

The lyrics represent a more musical growth for RaeLynn, who continues to hone her craft and develop as a songwriter, singer, and performer.  Wittingly created are the verses and chorus, painting a picture that we all love to envision of growing up in a small town and how special that place is to all those who live there.

Cause we put the good in the good people

We put a ring on the one we love

Always country coming through the speakers

All the roads all filled with trucks

I love my hometown, holding it all down in my hometown

This marks the first release from RaeLynn since Baytown, her successful 2021 record which has surpassed 100 million global streams.  Fans can catch her on the road with Kane Brown on his BLESSED & FREE TOUR this spring and summer.
