With a seamless blending that flows through the genre lines of pop and country and creates a unique feel that perfectly encompasses her outstanding vocals, Bri Fletcher has quickly risen as one of Nashville’s most sought-after songwriter/artists of the Music City scene today.

As her nostalgic dripping last single “Astronaut” started making its tremendous impact, Fletcher reached an unbelievable milestone with her real-life love story put to song when “Everything I’m Not” became her first release to reach over 1 million streams.

Continuing to ride that wave of success, Fletcher has now released “There’s Still Tomorrow.”

The mid-tempo song, born out of a writing room conversation about how to say I love you to your better half, but to have it hold an ever-stronger meaning than just those three words, enlists Jake Hoot (the winner of Season 17 of The Voice) to sing alongside Bri to add a full spectrum dynamic that takes the initial idea and expertly adds both the male and female perspectives to it.

Fletcher opens the song by listing those moments that always leave her in awe about him, such as how he makes every day feel so brand new and how there’s just something in the way he says her name.

Likewise, when Hoot comes in on the second verse, he reiterates how there’s something bout the way she says his name, but also digs into the fact that as much as he already knows everything about her physically – her curves, her kiss, etc. – he still always wants them so bad that it hurts.

When they bring their voices together in the chorus, though, they perfectly fit together and elevate the strong emotions as they first sing in the current moment from right where they’re at right now in their love for each other, “I couldn’t love you more than I do right now, every day is getting better somehow,” before advancing that emotion forward with hope through the incredible hook, “I don’t think I could love you more, but there’s still tomorrow.” – a point that they continue stamping home in the bridge as they sing of how they’ll keep getting better and better.

When two artists who aren’t a couple in real life bring their voices to an emotionally driven song like this, it takes something very special for them to be able to feel the words so much and utilize their voices in all the right ways that it pulls that certain something out of the listener that makes them instantly connect with the song. Bri Fletcher and Jake Hoot have accomplished this feat on “There’s Still Tomorrow,” and because they do, it’s a safe bet to say that Bri Fletcher is looking at her next song to pass the million stream mark.
