LAUREN MASCITTI
"If I Can Lose You"
Independent Release
Lauren Mascitti debuted her original song “If I Can Lose You” on American Idol a couple of years ago, and there was an overwhelming fan response after she was given a golden ticket to the Hollywood Round of the show, as well as an invitation to perform the tune on the Grand Ole Opry stage just a year later.
Mascitti has spent the last two years as a COVID nurse fighting on the frontlines in Nashville, delaying the release of “If I Can Lose You”.
Now, long-awaited and much anticipated, “If I Can Lose You” has been formally released as a single, much to the delight of her fans, and soon to be country music fans across the nation.
Incredible vocals reminiscent of a 90’s chart-topper, Lauren’s delivery bares resemblance of a cross between Martina McBride, Trish Yearwood, and Carly Pearce. High praise? Absolutely. Listen to “If I Can Lose You” and you will undeniably agree.
Lauren’s songwriting ability rivals her vocals, putting her as a name to watch on the up-and-coming country music underground circuit. She has become a regular at 3rd & Lindsley, a marquis spot in the downtown Nashville landscape for country music songwriters / performers.
With tunes like the resonating “If I Can Lose You”, we are sure to be hearing much more from Lauren Mascitti as a songwriter, singer, and performer.
