Country music superstar Miranda Lambert has released “Strange”, the second single off of her upcoming studio album.

Palomino is her eighth solo studio album, set for release on April 29th.  Following the success of the lead single “If I Was a Cowboy”, Lambert unveils “Strange”, a bluesy ramble about treating yourself right in then uncertain moment.

Have a smoke, buy a round

Get on a jetliner goin’ anywhere-bound

Pick a string, sing the blues

Dance a hole in your shoes

Do anything to keep you sane

‘Cause times like these make me feel strange

The newly crowned ACM Entertainer of The Year can seemingly do no wrong in the studio, as she has crafted a wide range of tunes touching the boundaries of country music across the realms of blues, rock, and pop genres.

“Strange” incorporates elements of blues while staying true to the country roots that made fans fall in love with the singer-songwriter, who also holds the title of most-awarded artist in ACM history.

In these unsure times we are living, this track certainly hits home with its subject matter, touching on how we are able to overcome and survive through of uncertainty by finding the good and the happy in the simple.

And while every album represents a new chapter, this upcoming release from Lambert, as is evident by the first two songs we have heard publicly, further expands what we can expect from this incredibly talented singer, songwriter, and performer in the years to come.

Miranda is set for a busy spring and summer, with dates scheduled nationwide to promote Palomino while also treating fans to live performances of her biggest hits from over her illustrious career.
