CHRIS JANSON
"Cold Beer Truth"
Warner Music Nashville
Chris Janson’s latest single, “Cold Beer Truth”, continues to build momentum leading up to the release of his new album, ‘All In’. The tune encompasses the narrative of heartfelt conversations, relationships, and experiences and how they center around a cold drink among friends.
While there may be a nostalgic and almost somber side to this story, “Cold Beer Truth” is, at its core, a celebration of life. Despite the essence that not all memories and experiences are good in nature, the ability to endure those times with the support of loved ones is what makes life so bittersweet. And of course, Janson delivers the adequate passion and emotion to the song with his trademark effortless vocal delivery.
“A sun sets sweeter in the summer time
Blue jean pockets need an old case knife
A penny’s worth more on a rail road track
Girls look better in a Bass Pro cap
All the best songs have a fiddle and steel
You can still count on a handshake deal
It ain’t what you say, it’s what you do
That’s just the cold beer truth”
Co-written by Janson along with Brad Clawson, Mitch Oglesby and Rob Pennington, this song is about real life, down to earth, unfiltered and unscripted.
It’s the third track released from the forthcoming ‘All In’, his fourth album. Janson is currently on the road on his “Halfway To Crazy” Tour, hitting theaters, auditoriums and arenas across nearly 20 cities along with the support of Ray Fulcher and Shane Profitt.
