Rising country music starlet Erin Kinsey is back with her latest release, “Hate This Hometown”.  A nostalgic tune about looking back on what was and what is now, touching a part of the listener somewhere between the head and the heart.

It’s a thought-providing number about how thoughts and desires can change with time and perspective.  This song can be about love, heartbreak, memories, wisdom, growing up, or any and all in between.  That is the marking of a great song, not to mention Erin’s flawless vocal delivery and flare.

When I drive down these roads, I see you and me at sixteen

When I never coulda known comin’ back would be so sweet

Every chance I get, I wanna go now

Every memory makes me wanna slow down

You make it hard to hate this hometown

Co-written by Kinsey along with Dave Cohen and Kathleen Higgins, “Hate This Hometown” serves as another example of the talent this Texan is bestowing on the country music scene with every release.

She is set to release her debut EP, ’40 East’, via RECORDS Nashville on March 25, 2022, which will also feature her debut country singles, “Just Drive” and “Drunk Too”.

RECORDS Nashville is a division of Barry Weiss’s RECORDS, a joint venture with Sony Music Entertainment, and their signing of Kinsey has propelled her to another level, quickly making her one of the trendiest up and coming singer-songwriters on the country music horizon.
