Country rocker and powerhouse vocalist Chelsey James has released her latest single, “Takedown”.  This is an empowering track through and through, an anthem to motivate the listener to overcome any challenge and succeed.

Tunes about perseverance and motivation are nothing new to country music, but there is something much more empowering when it is coming from a fast-rising artist that shows as much promise as Chelsey James.

“This song is about my journey of overcoming obstacles to follow my dream and I hope that when my fans hear it, it will inspire them to do the same”.

With her unique combination of rock hard guitar riffs and powerhouse vocals, this songstress is drawing incredibly impressive comparisons to some big names in the industry, and with releases like “Takedown”, those assessments are sure to continue.

“Takedown” follows her liquor-themed breakup tune, “Must’ve Been Drunk”, released earlier this year.  Chelsey recently wrapped up her Kiss My Glass Tour, and with new music continuing to come out from her, we are expecting big things in 2022.
