KELSEY HART - Burn My Summer - Curb Records

Coinciding with the announcement of his full-length debut album, Curb Records Artist Kelsey Hart is releasing a throwback rocking anthem just in time for the warm weather.  “Burn My Summer” is available both digitally and on all streaming platforms now.

Accompanied by a steady, heavy drum beat and rough, rugged guitar hooks, Hart croons his way through the upbeat, aggressively crisp track.  This is a fun, nostalgic song that takes the listeners on a trip down memory lane of their own lives from summers past.  It’s a toe-tapping, boot-stomping good time from start to finish.

Hart’s vocals are on point once again, as his solid, steady delivery lends itself to varying runs and ranges at multiple times throughout the track.  The lyrics are quick, clever, and fun to sing, making this an instant fan favorite with the potential to be a soundtrack favorite for country music fans everywhere.

“Baby, burn my summer

Take my time

Put a match to it

Set it on fire

Kiss by kiss

Night by night

‘Til we kiss the whole thing goodbye

Baby, burn my summer”

While continuing to make a name for himself within the country music community as an established recording artist, Hart has been a highly-regarded songwriter almost immediately upon his arrival in Music City, penning cuts for Jake Owen and Trace Adkins, among others.  He, as an artist himself, released five new tunes in 2023, including “Life With You”, “Country In Business”, “6-Pack Gone”, “Drink About Me”, and “4X4”.  In addition to “Flannel”, “Burn My Summer” is being released as “Life With You” continues to impact radio stations nationwide.

In addition (and in support of) his debut album’s release, Hart will be appearing at CMA Fest in Nashville on June 6, 7, and 9, and will make his Grand Ole Opry debut on June 28th

As has been the case for nearly ever aspiring artist who moves to Nashville, with the dream of becoming a country music star, Hart began cutting his teeth as a songwriter, playing writer’s rounds and penning tunes for other established acts.  But unlike most, the Central City, KY native has made himself into one of the more promising rising talents in the genre, as a writer, singer, and performer.
