Power Springs, GA native and rising country music singer-songwriter Tyler Reese Tritt has released her latest single, telling the story of the emotional turmoil and uncertainty of a relationship’s ending.  The track, written by Jaida Dreyer and Melissa Peirce, is available on all major streaming platforms now.

Tritt unapologetically delivers her brand of country music, incorporating the down-to-earth morals and traditional values of the genre’s honest nature while offering her modern twist as only made possible by her youth and growing experience as a person and as a musician. 

As we have learned countless times over the years, what sets country music apart from any other genre is its storytelling nature about real life events that we have all experienced in some form or another.  Even as the evolution of music has brought changes, the most centralized element of this genre still rings true…country music is all about relatability and how we, the listeners, react, respond, and relate to it.  The songwriters, the singers, and the performers of these songs make an emotional connection to the music they make and the songs they sing, and this is evident in Tyler’s performance of “Texas Hold Him.”

On full display throughout this track are Tyler’s powerhouse vocals, showcasing her musical bravado and natural gift of telling a story and portraying an emotion not only through the words she is singing but also through the phrasing, pitch and varying levels of aggression throughout the song.  This is a raw and vulnerable side to her vocal delivery, which is part of her charm but also opens the door to possibility of continued growth and development.  With the natural talent and proven work ethic, the heights with which her music can achieve seem limitless.

“Texas Hold Him” follows her most recent release, “Porch Light,” which garnered a slew of new fans and was accompanied by a music video that has caught the eye of many fans, fellow artists, and industry reps alike.

In addition to releasing new music, Tyler will also be hitting the road for some highly anticipated tour dates In Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Mississippi, and Kentucky, as well as her home state of Georgia through mid-November.
