Over the course of the past decade, there have been few country music duo's that have enjoyed more accolades than Florida Georgia Line.  From their sold-out concerts to chart-topping singles, their success was undeniable.  And with that being said, the talent and musical ability of its members has been undoubtedly overlooked and under-appreciated.

Both Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley have ventured out into the solo artist world in the past year, and both are proving to their doubters that they have the talent to achieve monumental success as singer-songwriters on their own.

Kelley released his new single, “See You Next Summer”, on May 26th via Big Machine Records, and it is available on all streaming platforms now.

This end-of-summer anthem was written by David Garcia, Michael Hardy, and Hillary Lindsey, and tells a remarkably beautiful story of a whirlwind love that both parties realize is coming to an end as the season is changing, while also twisting the narrative to a question about whether it really is the end.

As Kelley himself shares, “”See You Next Summer” is more than just about summer love, it’s a forever kinda love song”.

With the feel of an early 2000’s Kenny Chesney release or a more modern-day Luke Bryan effort, this song is utterly relevant to many and will certainly tap into some personal experiences of its listeners.  A true trademark of a good song is its ability to relate to its listeners on a theoretic level as well as a literal level.  “See You Next Summer” does just that, all the while delivering its message through an upbeat melody with the hooks in all the right places.

“I know we both gotta leave, but we don’t gotta leave alone

You say the word, girl, and I’ll follow you home

‘Cause I can’t wait all year

To kiss you like I’m kissin’ you right here”

Of course, we all were first introduced to Kelley as one-half of the Grammy-nominated Florida Georgia Line.  The duo tallied 19 career No. 1 songs, eclipsed 17 billion global streams, and became the first and only act to achieve two RIAA Diamond singles in country music history (“Cruise” and “Meant To Be”).

Currently working on his first full-length project with Big Machine Records along with a new single out now and tour dates scattered throughout this year, Brian Kelley is gearing up to take the country music world by storm.
