Multi-platinum recording artist Jake Owen is once again impacting radio stations nationwide with his latest single, “Up There Down Here”.

Written by Zack Dyer, Summer Overstreet, and Travis Wood, the song is an ode and praise for the women in our lives who balance us out, who go above and beyond and make our lives better every day.  It’s another cleverly-written, toe-tapping number from Owen, who continues his trend of releasing catchy melodies with meaningful, relatable lyrics.

The “angel to his devil” metaphor is the forefront of Jake’s latest offering via Big Loud Records, and is applicable to a wife, girlfriend, or even a daughter.  The lyrics are wittingly crafted and Owen’s vocal delivery is as effortless and carefree as ever.

“I’m a raise a little hell, she’s heaven on earth

The grace to my grit and the rain on my dirt

I’m a little down home, cold beer

She’s a little up there, down here”

The tune follows a stretch of impressive new song success for Owen, including “Fishin’ On A River,” “Drunk On A Boat”, and “Best Thing Since Backroads”.

In addition to charting his tenth No. 1 single at country radio, Owen is hitting the road this fall for the back half of his “Up There Down Here” Tour with openers Travis Denning and Mackenzie Carpenter.
