Your wedding day will always go down as one of the big6gest, most memorable milestone moments in your life. But when you just so happen to also be a recording artist, and you have the perfect song to fit the big day, then your wedding day memory is relived every time you hear that song going forward.

That’s the exact case for Jenna Walker of The Reklaws, and their brand-new song “Hay is for Horses.”

Written by Jenna and her brother Stuart (aka The Reklaws) along with Griffen Palmer and Grady Block, the song focuses on that awesome, one-time feeling that you only experience when you find the right one and fall crazy in love with them.

The cold opening sees Stuart tackling the male perspective as he sings through all the different love lost experiences that he’s had before he met her, whether it’s having the pain of a broken heart, making some mistakes with the wrong one’s a time or two, etc. All these missteps, however, hold a tremendous purpose as Stuart flips the script when he sings, “I did something right, the night I asked for your name.”

This then leads to an entire slew of “better together” descriptions throughout the catchy chorus that’ll have you singing along; kisses are for porches, tequila is for dancing, red roses for romancing, rocks are made for skipping, etc. all designed to lead straight to the hook, “Hay is for horses and baby you’re for me.”

Jenna slides in on the second verse with the female perspective to further along the love connection as being one that’s been guided by pure fate as she sings us through the notion that it wasn’t an accident or something left to chance that brought them together, but rather that she felt their connection from the very first time they kissed.

With a clap along with mid-tempo, summery groove that keeps you swaying along with it, combining with fun and memorable lyrics that are delivered in the signature pop country style that has earned The Reklaws seven platinum certifications thus far, the duo may have another hit on their hands – and an ultra-personal one at that!

Congratulations from the staff at Today’s Country Magazine to Jenna Walker on her marriage to Ryan Watson this past weekend!
