Baton Rouge, LA native CJ Solar has released “All I Can Think About Lately”, the latest offering from his upcoming album, The Future’s Neon.

The tune was written a couple years ago, but due to other artists placing on again off again holds on it, the song was never released.  Now, the singer-songwriter has recorded and released the track himself, and it promises to be a fan-favorite.

“We wrote this song a couple years ago, and I just haven’t been able to get it out of my head.  It’s been on and off of hold with other major artists for years, which is why it never made it on a project of mine”, CJ said.  “It seems to be one they let slip through the cracks, so I’m super stoked to release it myself”.

The song is classic CJ – a contemporary-inspired number that blends elements of southern rock and modern ingenuity that has placed him in his own category of one of the more promising singer-songwriters on the circuit.

One of the best compliments a singer-songwriter can receive is to be recognized as one who can write songs personally as well as for others.  He has succeeded in both realms, and “All I Can Think About Lately” is an impressively crafted portrayal of honest feelings and emotions we all have felt at one time in our lives.

Solar has earned number one singles for songs he wrote for Morgan Wallen (“Up Down” featuring Florida Georgia Line) and Jameson Rodgers (“Some Girls”) as well as other popular tunes like “I Don’t Drink Anymore” by Jason Aldean, “Between You And Me” by Justin Moore, and “The Regulars” by Jerrod Niemann.

Fans can catch CJ at some select dates through the spring, including at the Country Music Hall Of Fame and Museum on April 16th and at the Key West Songwriter’s Festival on May 5th.
