Released via Vere Music, “This Town Ain’t Small Enough” is yet another example of why we and the country music community should be ecstatic about the continued under-the-radar rise of singer-songwriter Cody Webb.

This song follows the pattern of what has made Cody a sought-after artist, songwriter, and performer.  His ability to take a common theme and take it to the next level of musical ingenuity is turning heads of listeners, fans, media, and industry minds.

Telling the tale of falling in love and leaving your hometown, only to miss where you came from, does not put this song in its own category.  Sure, this theme has been covered before, countless times.  But his play on words and catchy hooks throughout keep the listener intrigued from start to finish.

This town’ ain’t small enough for the two of us

No there ain’t enough

Stars in the sky when the sun goes down

And a rouge to crawl when the mid comes back around

There ain’t no dirt road

For as I can see baby you and me

Should leave this concrete in the dust

This town ain’t small enough for the two of us

“This Town” follows the January 15th release of “Money Well Wasted”, which coincided with the announcement of his “This Gas Ain’t Cheap Enough Tour”, a southeastern trek while also having shared the stage with the likes of Morgan Wallen, Cole Swindell, and LoCash.
